Mrogenski Family Website Hi there! Let us introduce ourselves. We’re the Mrogenski family currently residing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest near Portland, Oregon. I’m John, husband, father, and webmaster. I’m originally from the Deep South, of Illinois (Yes Virginia, there’s more to Illinois than Chicago). I am a military retiree with 21 years of service in the United States Air force. I currently work as a Technical Instructor for a thermal imaging manufacturer. My job takes me around the world, literally, and explains some of the photos in our photo gallery. Rose, my beautiful wife of nearly 25 years, is originally from the Philippines. We met while I was stationed there with the U.S. Air Force. She currently works at a high tech manufacturing facility in the local area. She’s also one of the best cooks in the world, trust me. We have three lovely daughters; Crystal, Sarah, and Michelle. They all attend college, and Rose and I are happy they all still live at home. Crystal and Michelle are in their last year at Portland Community College and plan to transfer to four-year institutions in the Fall. Sarah is currently a Junior at Portland State University. Crystal is concentrating her studies in Biology. Sarah is studying Japanese Linguistics, and Michelle currently plans to be a Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound). Portland is rainy and weird. If you don’t believe me, watch Portlandia on IFC. Michelle fits right in here, and is currently working part-time as a Barista at a local coffee shop. Drinking coffee is mandatory here (it may be a law). We’re all social networking (isn’t everyone?), so you can find some of our daily activities there. |
